June and early July is peak season for strawberry production. Strawberries which do not meet the high standards we set for our fresh fruit are sold in bulk at 50% of the normal price

All our strawberries are pollinated by our resident worker bees who never complain about long hours and are the first to arrive in the mornings. An esential part of our workforce.

At Greens Berry Farm we aim to produce a top quality product in a safe clean environment. All fruit production is NSAI and Bord Bia approved since 1996

With the exception of blueberries (grown in Offaly) all soft fruit sold at our farm and restaurant is grown on our farm at Gorey, Co. Wexford.
Food miles are eliminated because the fruit is picked and sold the same day.



We have chosen the best varieties for our farm shop sales with a strong emphasis on superb taste often lacking in fruit purchased elsewhere. The result is incredi

 

Product availability



The compulsory acquisition of 25 acres of the above crops in October 2004 by Wexford County Council to build the Gorey By-Pass has temporarily limited the quantities available of some fruits.
We apologise if the fruit you wish to purchase is not available on the day of your visit.
When settlement is received we hope to undertake substantial replanting to meet the growing demand for these fruits.
